Reporting a bug

Good bug reports help us fix things fast. Please include:

• What you were doing — The command you ran or the action you took in the dashboard
• What you expected — What should have happened
• What actually happened — Error messages, unexpected behavior, or missing data
• CLI version — Run mx --version and include the output
• Environment — OS, Node.js version, AI client (if using MCP)

Example:

**What I did:** Ran `mx memories search --query "test" --timeline`
**Expected:** Chronological search results
**Actual:** Error: "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map')"
**CLI version:** 1.7.28
**OS:** macOS 14.3, Node.js 20.11

Requesting a feature

Tell us:

• What you want — Describe the feature or improvement
• Why it matters — How would this help your workflow?
• How you'd use it — A concrete example or scenario
